Yesterday I Spent 186 on a Fenwick hmx and a nice Lews Baitcast reel and today 60 more on cranks etc. today I put 80 bucks in the tank and don’t even have 3/4 of a tank. It’s even difficult for those with families where both of you work. But a boat relieves that stress . I hope you all have a safe and fun summer

Thanks i have been applying for pt jobs and did get a call back from a grocery store but when I told him I have dialysis 2 days a week he ended the call. Unbelievable! Thanks I’ll keep trying. I had a 12’ aluminum I picked up in April for only 200 but I had no trailer and it was too much to deal with in the back of the truck loading unloading. Very uncomfortable and just couldn’t set it up! my dog went in for surgery and the vet traded for my boat Minnkota battery and charger. I made 250 on the boat . Vet bills pretty darn steep.

Tying mono or fc to a split ring might damage my knot at the split end but I’m no mathematical person. Ball bearing swivels protect the fight more from the fish bc of rotation and not bending a reg snap. I’m not worried about the split ring bending! I’ve been using the snap and I’m hooking smallies. I guess I’ll put on a swivel and compare the actions

I’m sorry for this but my boat buying power are days gone by now at 65. I’ve owned 5 beautiful boats in the past used and new but from moving around too much I’m on shore and it sucks! I live in a major league bass fishery up here in no idaho. just hurts mentally to not be on the water. if I sell my 2008 GMC Sierra extended cab 4x4 beautiful truck I’d be miserable just not having it anymore. God gave me my truck! Yes I’m asking God too! Downgrade into something safe for winter and find me a nice boat. Would u sell or suffer? I paid cash 14k for my truck in ‘19 and the truck is paid for. I can’t make more than 960.00 a month if I return to work PT or I’ll lose my health benefits. I tried a title loan on wed with a credit union but haven’t heard back. So that means you didn’t get approved. I think either way I’ll suffer. I love my truck

When running crank baits, dt 3,6,12, jerkbaits etc I’ve been using snaps to the rings but snaps without swivels. I don’t like it. I much more prefer a swivel especially ifhooking pike. They sold me snaps and I thought about it but bought them anyway. Will using a small but good ball bearing swivel hamper the lure action to a noticeable degree? What works best? Thank you

Awesome jar what u said was huge? My crank bait rod is a casting with 20 lb fc. I wanted 15 but they were out. I’m gonna get a fast action if Tackle whse has any left in the rod I want. U gave me stuff to think about Yes I’m just going light on my spinning rod and thanks for the senko advice. Even though I said senko Texas rig I will use my falcon med heavy casting rod for this and for jigs with craws

I’m switching back to braid also for my spinning reel. I’ll be throwing top water and using Ned rigs, Texas riggin a senko. 7 ‘ moderate fast be okay? 8-12 lb or 8-17lb? Thank you

I’m Danny, started fishing for bass back in 2001 when an old girlfriend helped me score a tracker pro 16 aluminum it was my first boat and had so much fun. But I traded the tracker for a 19’ runabout to fish Monterey bay & Santa Cruz for kings and halibut. I’ve just started up with bass again in April on lake Ponderey. I’m on shore now so it’s discouraging. I love reading articles on bass fishin but really if u have a a boat you have everything! Keep at it, everyone

???? yes I have to say I appreciate those on here I hope to support br but my income is 890.00 per mo.personally I’m 65 on dialysis 2 days a week and I’m feeling better have mor energy and freedom going 2 days instead of 3. If being frustrated with no longer having a boat is enough! I’m stuck to fishing on shore and I’m throwing crank baits jigs with crack n crawl trailers. Senko and have Ned rigs but haven’t tried them yet! I’m gonna try more top water . I’ve only caught 5 smallies on a rss as pals dt6 bluegill. The rest all skunks. Maybe I’ll try fishing mornings more instead of late evenings. Any tips appreciated thanks and never sell your boat unless ur able to get another one

I have a question as well, I wanted 15lb seagar red but they were out so I put 20# red. Should I get rid of the 20# it’s on my daiwa tatula. Can’t seem to cast too far with a 3/8 crank bait. I’m dialing in my reel settings but I’ll keep working it. 20 lb seems heavy for my application of a crank bait rod but I’m learning Appreciate any input
