Rod choices ultralight
So far panfish and hopefully a big bass soon. I've been float fishing, micro texas rig, drop shot and jig. I've been using a 8lb j braid with 4lb mono leader. Want to try lighter braid but haven't got around to ordering it yet. I been throwing 1/32 jigs.

Worm & jig casting rod
Looking for a new rod to use for worm and jigs. I'd like to keep it under 200. I'm thinking of going with a medium heavy or should I use a heavy fast? Side note I know I just posted about this but the rod I got was defective and realized I will mainly be using it for jigs and heavy t-rigs. The vegetation is getting thick right about now.

Baitcaster rod recommendations
So sad new I have to return my rod already. It has a loose eyelet but I know I'm going to go for a medium heavy. The Daiwa ended up on my medium casting rod. Works great on it. My shimano curado is perfect for the medium heavy.

Baitcaster rod recommendations
So I ended up with a daiwa tatula elite multi purpose rod 7'3 medium heavy. I think this will fill a good hole in my setup. I have tatula medium spinning rod. That works great with finesse fishing and a mojo bass 7ft medium. The mojo bass works great with the chatterbait but is not great for t-rigs. So the medium heavy should handle the rest I hope. Lol

Daiwa 21 Zillion SV TW 1000P
I just bought the Zillion 21 SVTW from the jdm. It was a great price. If I want a deeper spool I could swap it out for the Daiwa MAG-Z Boost 1000 G1 spool? Sorry, I'm just making sure I don't buy the wrong thing. I do a lot of bank fishing. So I like my distance.

Daiwa 21 Zillion SV TW 1000HL
I'm looking to get a reel. I currently have Shimano Curado K. I'm going to send it in for maintenance soon. Looking for something to use in the meantime. I have been itching to try a daiwa reel. I manly do Texas rigs and chatterbaits. Would this be a good for me? I found the reel 257. Is this a good deal?

Shimano Curado K Baitcast Reel casting issue
I've owned this reel for over year now. It's never really cast very far. My friend has the same reel and can cast twice as far. Also now the thumb bar isn't always depressing. Like it isn't catching or something. Just wondering what the issue might be. Shimano Curado K Baitcast Reel - CU201HGK 7:4:1 on a mojo bass medium light.

Finesse fishing rod & reel under 250
I'm looking for a finesse spinning rod. Something with good sensitivity. I've been using a baitcaster lately but looking for a change up. Lately I've been having good luck with just a worm. I've been hearing that spinning rod is better for lighter weights.
