  1. I know that there's a lot of factors that come into play when comes to catching big bass on an regular basis. I was one of the lucky ones who had a dad who let his son tag along and use either his or his partners boat while they pre-fished for their next tournament. With that being said at age 10 I had already caught at least two 5 lbs Bass because my dad had it mounted for me. At 12 I won a small Big Bass tournament at the landing where we had a camp on Toledo bend with a 7.9 lbs. Then at 13 I caught an 8 lbs on Lake Fork. Now that stayed my PB until 3 years ago when I really got back into fishing. I'm 48 now and I can say that from the time I was 18 till I was 45 I probably didn't go fishing 10 times a year. However, in the last 3 years I have fished 2 small lakes one is 400 Acers and the other is 40 Acers both were stocked with Florida Bass in 2013. In the last 3 years out of these 2 lakes I have caught more Bass over 5 lbs than my dad did in his whole life. The first year my PB was 9 lbs and the guy I fished with just about every time caught 6 bass over 8 lbs one over 10 lbs and one almost 12 lbs. Needless to say I got back into fishing and I go at least 3 times a week. Since August 2021 I've only fished the small 40 Acer lake and my first morning back in town I cought a 11 lbs for my PB at the time. This year during the spawn I caught a new PB at 12 lbs. In this little 40 Acer lake from August 2021 until now I've got 93 pictures of Bass I've caught over 5 lbs and there's been over a dozen I didn't get pictures of due to the weather. I will have to say I've fished a lot last year. This year the month of October I fished 19 days and I have documented 24 Bass over 5 lbs.
  2. In the last year I've caught 77 bass 5 lbs and over with my PB of 12 lbs being among them. There was 5 out of the 77 that were over 10 lbs.
