  1. Had an eventful weekend, went over to Stockton Lake, Missouri on Saturday and fished with a friend on his boat, didn't catch anything. Sunday I took my boat down to Table Rock but couldn't get my motor started, ended up needed to spin the flywheel to get the starter back down and the battery being almost dead, it was alot of driving for nothing. Tuesday, after recharging the battery and running the engine in my driveway I went back down to Table Rock and it started right up. The trolling motor worked for around 20 minutes then quit. The batteries are good so I'll change out the ring terminals because they are old and see if that works. The rest of the afternoon I tied up to trees and fished from a stationary position. Ended up catching two smallmouth on a weightless Texas rig with a Gary Yamamoto Senko in Watermelon/Black Flake. The next thing I noticed was the boat pulling hard to the right when underway, I'm going to mess with the trim tab on the outboard to see if that will help, if not I'll look at the steering lines. Any suggestions what else to check out?
  2. I ended up choosing the MK on board charger, that's really good to know. Thanks for the info.
  3. Hello everyone! I finally found my ideal boat for southwest Missouri without paying an arm and a leg. It's a 1993 Tracker Tournament V17, perfect for taking some wake on Table Rock and Stockton while floating shallow down Taneycomo. I wish the engine was a little bigger but it should still get me around no problem. I do have a few questions you may be able to answer. Is this the correct oil to use for the VRO oil injectors? Evinrude Johnson 779718 E-Tec 50 2-Cycle Outboard Motor Oil I was looking to install onboard charging/maintainer for the Motorguide Digital Tour 24v trolling motor, any recommendations? Option 1: Pro Mariner Option 2: NOCO Genius Option 3: Minn Kota Others? The fish finder / depth gauge has seen better days, any budget recommendations? Thanks for the help, I look forward to reading and contributing to the forms.
  4. Thanks for the great video, I'm pretty new to fishing and you explained everything well. Can't wait to try it out.
