  1. I’m getting a dobyns fury rod for light spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, jerkbait and t rigs. I think medium rods are too noodly for me. What action and power would you choose? I’m not looking for “that won’t effectively fish all of them” answers, because I know. Thank you all
  2. The st.croix bassx rods are on sale right now. But I need a rod for both of these baits. I throw light of both types. Highest maybe 1/4 ounce. I’m asking about power, length and action, not a model of rod. Thanks
  3. I’ll be throwing 1/8 ounce bullet weight t rigs. Which one would be better on a medium heavy rod. Not looking for a “both” answer. Thanks In advance.
  4. I live in colorado and fish pressured waters most times. The fish i catch rage from .5 pounds to maybe 2-3 pounds tops. I get lots of luck for smallmouth using the baby rage craw. I get most of my largemouth on 4 inch wacky rigs and baby rage craws. should i try the baby brush hog or get the tiny ones? I like numbers but want to start chasing bigger fish but it is hard in denver. I ordered some baby rage bugs, uv speed craws, and small yamamoto craws too, looking mainly for bigger fish and expanding my inventory. I fish texas rigs only right now. Also if anyone has any soft plastics they think would work for me in denver, co. Also do you think the baits i mentioned i ordered would work? thanks.
  5. Thank you, these were very helpful!
  6. Anyone who fished or fishes in Colorado, what baits always work? I live in the Denver area and am struggling to find baits I am confident in. What is your top bait for any lake you go to, the most consistent and fish pulling lures. Thanks a lot!!
  7. I use both spinning rods and casting rods. But want to see what casting setup could work for tubes? I would like to throw them on a Baitcaster and mine are 3/8 ounce I think. I know a spinning would be a bit better but if you had to use a casting what specs would be good for the line, reel and rod. Thanks
  8. casting, my title says it too. Sorry shouldve put it in the desc
  9. I want a combo for bass fishing that is a preset combo. I now have a bass pro mega-cast combo and need an upgrade. I will be starting a junior bass masters club soon and need a new combo. I will be fishing on kayak and shore, with my other rods being for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, tubes and finesse. Because of that, I need a rod that will handle crankbaits, jerkbaits, jigs and small swimbaits. Whatever action and power you think is best for that. I want something with good value and that will last a while, also short enough to be useful on a kayak, while still having good casting abilities. thanks
