Mr Science teach

Hello, I saw this was an old post but I figured I would give it a try. I moved into the north ft pierce/vero area a couple years ago and used to be a big bass shore fisher up in Mass. I am at a loss when it comes to finding spots to fish with my two young boys here. I've tried a few canals and the pond in my community but not much luck. My boys get bored from not catching anything and it's hard to get them to go fishing now. Any advice on specific spots. I went to lake Garcia but the only spot to shore fish I found was at the boat ramp which was too busy. Thanks!
