  1. As somebody who is looking for field staff, I have had a lot of interest, but nobody has sent me back an application yet. As somebody who has a Pro Staff, and Field Staff, I like looking here, Frankly it is the best repository I have found for anglers who have a drive to perform. A lot of other sites dont even address the issue. Joe
  2. Dont forget one of the best books I know I ever read, Shaw Grigsby, Bassmaster, I think Natl. Georaphic put it out, but dont remember. I got more out of this book than I have out of a dozen others. Interested if anybody else read it and what they thought.
  3. I dont just have a product, I have a company. I have thousands of products, Strike King, Daiichi, Luck"E"Strike, falcon, Shimano, on and on. I have a four page application. I check out everything on it. That money goes to my time to check you out. If I just wanted to sign people up, I could do that. But it wouldnt be fair to those who take it serious, because somebody would screw it up and take advantage of the situation. Besides, if I decide you dont get on the Field Staff, I eat the cost and GIVE YOU THE MONEY BACK. It is worth losing the time and money to not have to deal with a headache down the road! I opened my wholesale/retail tackle business to give not just tournament anglers a way to get the baits they want at a price that wouldnt break the bank, but everybody. I am a small company, my field staff can buy anything I carry, several thousand items from top shelf products to leads weights at wholesale prices. You dont get 20% off my brand rods, or reels, or plastics, you know what you fish with, what you need. My field staff can save over a 100.00 just on one reel!, that aint worth the chance? As far as the button not working, I was made aware of that, that is why I asked to be emailed, and the site says it is under construction. A lot of the bigger companies that have been established a while have people that want to get signed on with them, and get tons of applications, they have a huge pool to choose from. I know because I am sponsored by a couple of those big companies. I learned real quick as a Police Chief how to be a manager, and weed out those who are going to go through the motions, and those I can count on. I currently have 4 guys on Pro Staff. They fish mostly the ABA, one was ranked 15th or 16th in the nation last year, I know I can count on him to handle promotions in his area if I need him to, just as he knows I will break my neck to get him what he needs to win tournaments, even if I have to overnite it to a hotel room. I dont ask a lot from my guys. Buy your tackle from me, help me get business. Work booths if you can. Tell your local bait shop you think I should talk to them, and I can save them money, most of the time I can, I will call them so they dont have to pay for the call. I fish in the ABA also, dont think I wont run to nationals in LA this year when I make it? I will, and most of my Pro Staff and I will be there, but no matter where I am, those who count on me will still be able to. It all hinges on integrity, and honor, something our sport has to have to continue to grow. If the camera aint on you, what are you going to do when aint nobody lookin? I want the person who will choose to do the right thing, no matter how painful. Sorry I got on the soap box, I am not trying to take anything out on anybody, just wanted to explain the situation and my feelings. If your interested, shoot me an email, and I will send you an app, or I will give you a call. Joe CrownJTackle@yahoo.com
  4. I think the single hook does more damage since it seems to be swallowed more. I see it a lot when my tackle company works with kids and the hadicap at fishing derby's. Tru-Turn hooks with the cam action is what I have gone to and I have noticed that they are more likely to hook in the mouth and not the throat.
  5. I am looking to expand my companies Field Staff. Those interested need to email me. Joe CrownJTackle@yahoo.com
