I currently own a Lund Renegade and have owned Lund for 15 years and have never had it leak. The only issue I have had is they used to use some wood for flooring and transom. Wood rots and has to be replaced. My 2022 Renegade has no wood at all. I would check the bunks on the trailer as they are wood as well. I have a 1975 and love it. Great fishing platform with incredible storage. Runs great over wind blown chop up to 2 feet. It struggles with larger swells like those created by wake boats.
Should I consider the Renegade for what I’d like to do, or should I look at older, more reputable glass boats? I would consider looking at Ranger, Skeeter, Triton, etc. for a new (old) boat. And if I could find a Phoenix for the right price maybe that also, but I doubt that I’d be able to track one down that would be in the price range I’d have. Thanks!
