In my experience I get one big carp eating a lures year and they are always tanks.

The silver old model was the best spinning reel i ever had i owned two. The blue and black i have not tried,and I was interested as well if this new model was as good.

I've had a bit of success with two big walleyes over 29 inches in the shenango river on glides. One that choked a subwalk postspawn and the other in the tailwaters on the 8 inch bone glideswimmer.
