  1. Thanks man. I was going to use my swim jig rod (7’2 mh/f) but the more I read i would be better off with a mh/mf

  6. you can catch some good catfish at powerton but I never hear much about the bass bite there.

  8. Im working on filling my lure boxes. Im going to be using swim jigs, chatterbaits and spinnerbaits this year. Are there 2-4 go to colors for each lure that I should pick up?
  9. I dont have a boat or a kayak (Plan on getting one eventually) but for now eureka lake , bowen in washington (not a good place to fish imo) and sometimes spring lake. if the river is up a bit il try the boat dock area in pekin. I need to find more places to fish this year though

  11. Dobyns fury 735c and lews speed spool lfs on sale. With taxes comes out to 210 on tackle warehouse. This will be 90% frogs and maybe some heavy jigs. $200 budget so this is what I came up with. Any other suggestions or will this work?
  12. Hi guys, name is Mike. Im from the central illinois area. I used to fish alot with my dad when I was a kid but got back into bass fishing last year. Really hoping to fish more and become a better fishermen this coming year.
