  1. Hey everyone, so I was wondering if anyone has any single hook recommendations for the Gan craft jointed 70. I am going to be targeting bass with the lure. I know vanfook is a good brand, but there’s so many different ones that it makes me feel really overwhelmed. Some insite would be greatly appreciated thanks
  2. I think I’ve come to accept that the karashi is just a treble only bait. It’s such a finely tuned bait that it’ll only throw the balance off.
  3. I should have some vmc 7237 in a size #6 I’ll have to give those a shot. Everyone I’ve asked so far prefer using stock trebles for the action, hopefully it doesn’t change to much with singles.
  4. Hey guys, so I’ve recently ordered a megabass karashi and I’m so excited to give it a try, but I’m not the biggest fan of treble hooks. I seem to stab my clothes and myself more than I do fish. So I can’t help but wonder if anyone has any single inline hook and size recommendations that won’t impede the action of the karashi. thanks in advance
  5. Hey guys so I recently found out that I like throwing light lures and want to get a bfs setup. I narrowed it down to a levante f2, but I recently came upon an old 18 buoyancy ul, and man that thing looks nice. Was wondering if anyone with experience with these two rods could help me chose between the 2. Thx
  6. Awesome that’s good to hear, I tend to over think absolutely everything hahah
  7. Hey guys, so I have a shimano Vanford 4000 the 2020 version and I had a slight dilemma. So the manual advises to use grease on the line roller since it’s water sealed and is using shimano x-protect technology. Now the question I have is, after I give the reel a rinse after saltwater use do I just leave the line roller alone, or do I still add a drop of oil? I’m just worried that the oil might disrupt the grease that the roller bearing has. thanks I just noticed I messed up the title smh
  8. Thank you Mr bulldog. Funny enough you were the one person I was hoping would reply hahah
  9. Hello, so currently I have power pro 30 lbs on my baitcaster. It works great buts it's pretty loud and rough. I have been looking at some jdm braid since i've seen they are really smooth and thin. At the moment Varivas 8 has caught my eye, but im not sure on the size. Im worried of going to thin where the line digging in will be too much of an issue. Im using a Metanium 100 and cast and average of 1/2 oz lures with a 12/17 lbs sniper flouro leader. Im hoping some one with jdm line experience could help me out. Thanks
