Ive got some but havent caught anything on them...but I saw some guy fishing on tv with them and was slaying em....

I think it is and I think i know what you're talking about. We kinda ruled out putting a flat piece in the middle because if you notice in the pics theres basically a river in my backyard and the hillside is really steep...I didnt wanna make it any heavier than what i had to.

I forgot to mention Ill be painting it green...then Ill be pretty much finished...

Well I had it happen again lastnight casting a spinner...20lb test fireline snapped in half...

It doesnt rock all that bad. I had it out lastnight and it works great. Of course you cant move around in it like a bass boat but I like it...

I have a 12' v-bottom jonboat and me n dad decided we wanted to put decks on it so it would be a "mini bass boat" and make fishing from it easier. We've worked on it for the past few weeks and finished it last weekend. Here's some pics...

I had a knot slip on a leader earlier today that send a huge swimbait flying over my head in midcast...i thought i broke the pole until i saw the bait flying..

Ive tried it before. Its pretty much the same as if you would rig it with a jig head inside of a tube.

I have a $20 pair from GanderMtn. I think the brand was i-gogs... I fished the first time today with them on and they actually make a bigger difference than I thought they would...I dont think im gonna fish without a pair now...

haha yea i wish...I sold my quantum combo a couple months back(bought it for $160 sold it for $100) because i needed the money. Im wanting something that I can basically do it all with... I really like the Diawa. Im gonna try and stop by GanderMtn sometime within the next week or two and see if they have it cheaper...

Ive thought about the first one you posted...I wanted to see what everyone else thought about it though... I really like the diawa...ill probably end up going with that one...Ive tried fishing with a couple of them and really liked em.

Im looking to get a new baitcaster but I dont have a lot of $$... Id like to find a decent rod/reel combo for around $50 or less.... I know its not a lot to work with but Its all ive got to work with right now.
