A slept on lake is East Twin Lakes, its a trout lake mainly but ive caught my biggest LMB there, either off the docks or the N/NE corner of the lake for bass/pickerel and right off the peninsula for trout.

I recently moved to Windsor Locks and I know nothing about the area in regards to fishing. Generally a bass guy but want to try carp fishing. I usually fish from shore but do have the ability to get out in a kayak as small as it is for me. I was wondering if anyone knew of any places around my area, I usually fish East Twin when my buddy runs his boat up there but thats not always feasible. I live about a mile from the CT River by the canal but I don't know if thats even a good stretch of river to fish. Any info would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone in my area wants to get together one time to do some fishing that would be cool.
