nice catch and i was fishing last sat. and caught a 18in. at Derby Lake( a Tenorock lake)it weighed just over 4 pounds

u gotta be patient. maybe cast it further out and basicly fish like u normally would, reel it in slowly while barley snap it to make it look like its a real worm.

i have an older abu garcia ambassador. (it was my uncles that i inherited) i had the same trouble trying to get used to it. i can cast probably 40 feet side armed but only 5-10 feet over hand lol!

thats funny because i bought 8lb spider xxx fishing line and it slung most of my lures. so i switched back to my cheap 10lb test and it works great

Try the black with the blue glitter stuff in it. they work really good.if you use any bait use a small bullet wait so it doesnt make any extra movement. but try to also keep it as realistic as possible.

The lifejackets can NOT be a seat or other pfd. it HAS to go around your neck. there has to be a lifejacket for every person on board the boat.

Hello me and my dad just acquired a 14 foot jon boat and are fixing it up. My dad is talking to guy that is trying to find us a little kicker between 10 and 15 horsepower. but the big question is DO I NEED A TROLLING MOTOR? many people have said yes and some have said no. If i do what kind should i get? We don't won't to spend much on it. maybe at the most $150. Thanks
