I was just wondering how many people use plastics worms out on the lakes yet.  Im sure alot of people still do.  What are some good brands color cominations out there?  I have had real good luck with plowjocky red worms and orange and brown "The Worm" baits.  Any one got any other good worms?

I had a great day on Lake Barkley last Friday using a TR'd Zoom trick worm.  Only thing they'd hit.  As for Plow Jockeys, I've seen many fish brought to the boat using one of those.

Some of the guys have pretty good luck with a 5" Senko made by Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits.   8-)

I tore 'em up yesterday on a Yamamoto 8" grub...it's been really producing for me lately.

A weightless ZOOM trickworm and a t-rigged GYCB Kut-tail worm pitched into beds have been really producing for me lately.

The plastics i use are

-Berkley powerworm Motoroil 7''

-Tiki Stick Worm Sweet potato pie 7''

-FLW finesse purple shad 5''

-many culprit colors red / black shad, fire and ice is also a good one.

Im probably one of the few that isnt a senko fan but that is only because they are a bit pricey for my liking lol... im a cheap college student

I'm really trying to cut down the amount of stuff I'm packing around, so these are the worms I'm going with this year. All have been good producers. I'm also carrying a limited number of colors. Green and something like a shad color for clear water, brown and red shad for stained to dingy water, and black and blue for dirty water. That's still a lot of worms, but quite a bit less than last year's assortment.

I didn't add the Senko to this list because I think of it as something other than a worm.

I really like swampbaits 6 and 10 inch worms.  Generally Ill start with a t-rigged 10 inch worm and then if thats not getting it done switch over to a 6 inch on a shaky head.  The baits float and look natural too.

I caught my first bass a long time ago on a Productolure Tournament worm. I've stuck with them for around 20 years... I'm also kinda fond of the Roboworms now too......

I'm kind of partial to the *.  The customer service is outta' hand.  Shipping is "worm hole" fast.  The baits catch fish.  I don't have to drive for 30 min to BPS.  Well, I still go there, but only because the monkey say I have to.  ;D

In my bag there are also zooms and culprits.  They catch fish.

The bait monkey is having me spend some money this month on some senkos, finesse worms, and a lot of other stuff that "I think, I need"...  I wish I could hook that bait monkey, and use him for bait!  lol  Little guy has me spending so much money lately!  250+ in the hole already!  And I haven't been on the lake in almost a month and a half!  lol  Whatever you do, get yourself quality hooks!  Nothing like losing a fish because your hooks are as sharp as a dull butter knife!

Try the black with the blue glitter stuff in it. they work really good.if you use any bait use a small bullet wait so it doesnt make any extra movement. but try to also keep it as realistic as possible.

The weight will move...  That's just the way gravity works.  Since it is going to move, put a bead in between the bullet weight, and the top of the hook, when the weight hits the bead, it causes "clacking" which will cause strikes, due to curiosity!

I have always been a Culprit man. I also like the Zoom Magnum II and trick worms as well as the the old Mann's Augertail. The Grape/Red Firetail Culprit and the black with red glitter zoom worm are DEADLY in stained water. I like motoroil, watermelon and pumpkinseed in clear waters. Junebug and Red Shad round out my main colors.
