  1. The worm on the bottom has accounted for litterally hundreds of 4 through 9 pound bass in the past ten years. But I am almost out of them and can't find anymore. Don't know what kind they are or much about them except they catch big bass. I fish them in the summer on drops and deep structure T-rigged with 1/2 ounce sinker. About 90% of the time when you set the hook it is the size you want. I have tried the other two which are a manns jelly worm and a baby huey and they catch fish but not as good. My favorite color is black grape but black and dark green are good too,
  2. Dale Hollow, there is nothing like pulling one of those big bronzebacks out, and there are some BIG ones in there too. But you are only allowed to keep two, one can be under 15 inches and the other has to be over 22 inches. I am sure all of you know how big a 22 inch smalljaw is. It is fun to catch those 21 1/2 inch ones and have to turn them loose.
  3. come on guys
  4. Kistler makes a rod in their magnesium ts series called a "Jig n Toad" rod it is 7 foot heavy action rod that weighs just under 4 ounces and I own 2 of them and they are perfect for jigs and frogs. Cabelas sells them for $179.
  5. Quantums are heavy pieces of junk... Shimano reels on kistler rods all the way.
  6. What is the best footbball jig out there?
  7. The guy that had these worms said he thought they came from Flordia but he wasn't sure...
  8. Finally got em on here. The worm actually measures 10 1/4 inches. The picture has a baby huey on top, the worm in the middle is a manns jelly worm, and the one on the bottom is the one . Then tail profile and then a head profile and the pencil is a standard no. 2 pencil. The head is almost 1/2 inche in diameter and the worm is alo softer than either one of the others. I know it looks black in the pics but it is really a deep, dark grape color if you hold it up to light you can see the color in it better. I don't know what it is about this worm but it catches BIG fish and alot of them and I have tried to find another worm that works of same, some of them catch fish but just not as good. I think it has something to do with the softness because this worm has some awesome action in the water and I guess the fattness has something to do with the quality of fish it catches. PLEASE help me find some more of theese worms? :-[ :-[
  9. no there not jelly worms, i have tried them and they are about half the diameter I will post pics as soon as I get my camera back.

  12. I have some worms that I have had for years and am almost out. And cannot find them, and they are fish catching machines they are a deep dark black grape color, they are around 10 1/2 inches long and pretty fat and incredibly soft. They look like baby huey except a lot fatter and alot softer. Any ideas on where I can find em or something close. The baby huey just don't do it.
