My opinion carry both. I do....I can't cast a 2"-3" grub on baitcasting gear to be quite honest.

I'd be jealous too..... To be fair though.....This has been one of the best bass fishing year we've had here in Michigan.Everybody seems to be able to catch a bass right now.

Worked fast enough I don't give it time to sink. Plus I use the frogs like ribbits,horney toad etc,etc and I like to let them sink....Don't ask me why but I get more hits that way that than just buzzing the frog on top of the water. Something I'm experimenting right now with.It's kind a double duty line and has been working out for me strangely. The no stretch has a lot to do with it too.

I carry too much....My buddy teases me about it too. 2 rods/reel combos(spinning & baitcaster) a small tackle bag that holds 4 3600 plano boxes consisting of jigs/cranks,jerks,hard baits/soft plastic/hooks & weights.It's also where my pliers,scissors and other crap.Then I carry a backpack also consisting a 3600 box of topwater frogs,lip gripper,a plano bag full of more soft plastic lures,bug spray,hand towel and extra spools with line for my reels. Too much? I know...but It has came in handy once too many times. I rather have it on me than be sorry I left it at home.

Dingers are starting to get expensive themselves too.$5-$5.99 a pack from what I've found around here.I've been using up my inventory from a past sponsor here that sold ***. I'm catching so many fish on it I don't see the point in ever needing to buy senkos.I don't do all that well with senkos anyways. My 4 pound bass came off a luck-e strike worm,a pack I brought for under $2.00.Needless to say I cleaned out both walmarts of that particular worm and color.I'm a big fan of luck e strike plastics. Is "t-rick s-tick" a banned word? I just notice it got edited out..

Beat me to the punch.I always come back to this line. I like P-line CXX 6# test for spinning and also yo zuri hybrid ultra soft(same test #) as well. Currently I have 14# test trilene XT,12# test trilene XL and 50# test sufix 832 braid(for topwater frogs exclusively) on my baitcasters.I've been really happy with my line choices this year.

Happens with spinning all the time. I hate cajun line.I had it on once since somebody here said it's gotten better.One-two outing and I took the garbage off. I use trilene XT 14# test and never had a problem with it. I spray the spool down with KVD line conditioner.

Anything is possible.Money talks and people will do anything to earn a buck or two. I'm not saying I believe it.....But I wouldn't throw the theory out completely if a person is desperate enough.

People need to update their status so we know a little about where people are located.If anybody needs their reels spooled,I'll be more than happy to show them how. That berkley station makes my life a little easier in the spring when I respool most of my reels.

I've gotten extremely hooked on frogs.Paycheck transporter frog pops & spits and walks the dog.

Zoom Fat Albert in either salt and pepper or watermelon color. You can rig it with a bullet weight(I've been doing well with the 1/8-1/4 oz weight) or you can do the split shot about 6-12" up your line. I cast it out to a likely spot that might hold fish.Let it sink and hit the bottom(be ready I get strikes as it's falling).If you don't get a strike on the fall,slowly drag the bait with your rod.stop and reel in the slack line.Repeat till the bait is all the way back to you. Or you can cast it out let it fall then SLOWLY reel it in. I've been having great fun this year with them....I've already been through 5-6 packs of these grubs...so make sure you buy a few packs,they go pretty quick.

Had the same thing happen to me last week.....Took out the hook quick and got it back in the water.It didn't even want to swim off. Finally it did then a minute later it went belly up. It kinda sucked watching it swim down the river past me.

We have so many Carps in our waters that bowfishing doesn't even put a dent in their population. People here eat em'. I haven't seen a carp tossed aside to rot this year at all. I'm all for it....long as it's done accordingly to rules,law and regulations.

Gamakatsu Offset EWG Worm Hook for grubs. I use either Gamakatsu Round Jig Head 1/0 hook or http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/roundball-jigheads.My favorite size seems to be 1/8 oz. I also use arkie jigs...not exactly my favorite but they work I suppose.

None of my Daiwas do that.

I voted as long as it's split grips. Don't care if it's cork or EVA. I like the foregrip to be missing too.Those are the two main deciding factors when I'm looking to buy a rod. It's just personal preference.

Comparing the specs from last years reels to this years reels,I can see why many of you guys are complaining.The new curado G has the same specs as last year's citica and now $159. They should have changed the names....because now it's all misleading information. Shame on Shimano!

#1 for 2" grubs,1/0 for 3" grubs...or you can put them on a smaller jig head. 7" powerworms,I like the light wire hooks in 3/0 size.

My work pond....private property and nobody can fish it except me and another guy who usually goes out on our lunch break. Very,very small pond but it's a nice relaxing lunch break full of big bluegills and decent bass(nothing big yet).I don't always hit it up,but when I do I've yet to be disappointed. My boss always ask me..catch anything? I got to work Saturday so I'll probably fish it during my lunch break that day. It's also a nice place to try some new lures to see the action of it...LOL
