I got 2 on a spinning rod,one is 4 years other is on it's second year...haven't changed them yet.I don't use them around rocks though.Don't care what anybody says rocks will fray it.If you feel the need to retie do so otherwise you'll be sorry. I have one on a baitcaster this year sufix 832. I'm liking it a lot,but the first few cast that stuff bleed green hardcore.It stopped now that I've used it quite a bit.I use it for topwater frogs.

I have 7 so far...Saving up for a sleeve tattoo right now.I usually get my tattoos during the winter.I think they heal better and they stay out of the sunlight. Also,I'm looking to get a tattoo on a smallmouth & largemouth.This will be a little later on but I'll eventually get it done.When I get a tattoo now it takes awhile for me to get it.I figure if I wait a year and I still want that tattoo I really will enjoy it.

10lb test line is way to light. Get yourself a 7' Medium Heavy rod and some 15lb test line or bigger. PS get yourself at least a 2500 reel or something that can hold the bigger test pound line...otherwise your line will be jumping off that spinning reel as well.I mention that,because smaller reels will not be able to handle heavier test line also.

Sorry for your lost Rhino.That dog sure seemed to have lived life to the fullest. Never heard of a dog so well behaved even at that young of an age.Thanks for sharing those pictures with us as well.He was a Boxer right? Hookingem,I gave him a positive...it should be back normal again...LOL

Type in 1" orange grub on google or yahoo. It's gonna be a crappie/panfish type grub. Shouldn't be hard to find at all.I found some at .05 cents a piece on one site.I don't know what kind of brand you want or if it even matters? I use something similar but closer to a baitfish color.

I was doing great till last weekend.....The fish are gone. I'm actually having a problem trying to locate them now.It usually happens right as Summer began too. I usually have a hard time finding the summer pattern. I can't even get the bass to bite at my little work pond either.

I see Bass chasing bluegills all the time when I'm out fishing up here. I've even had a few 1-2 pounders spit up 4-5" bluegills after being caught. We can't use bluegills as bait either....it's illegal to do here as well.However there's plenty of bluegill swimbaits out on the market to make up for that.

I got almost 3 3600 plano boxes of nothing but Gman's jigs.Yeah I like them a little too much...

When the bite gets tough,I have on a 2 3/4" mizmo tube.I will cut off sometimes 1/4" off the skirt as well.

I saw a story not long ago,some lady drove through a flooded road and got drifted away.A good Samaritan grabbed her and saved her from being drowned.In the process she got slightly hurt.She sued him.... While your conscience was thinking the right thing "helping him","Mr. Control" was also doing the right thing....if you don't know what you are doing,that could have made the situation worst. You can be responsible if something happened,but you guys could also be responsible if you guys did nothing. Honestly,the only person in the wrong is the dumb *** lady taking pictures...now that's just straight messed up...

Yikes,I've only used 4 of the 30 something cranks I do have...I haven't experience anything like you did yet.No problems here. I'm not a big crankbait user either...So it's gonna be awhile before I even use up what I have.You would rarely see me tie on a crankbait for some odd reason.

Here's a funny story that happened Saturday. I was fishing tube baits and went over a patch of weeds.My line started swimming sideways,I set the hook and the fight was on.I notice right away from the first jump it was a Carp.After fighting it in on 6# test line I see that my line is tangled up in a weed clump with somebody else's previous broken off line. Since I was on a small standing dock I had to jump in the shallow part of the water to get the carp and that tangled mess of weeds and tangled up line.I finally get it in and low and behold the carp actually had a walleye jig and a grub in it's lip hooked nicely. After I grabbed the carp and unhooked it it swam away happily.Apparently I snagged some broken off line and ended up with a carp,a walleye jig and my tube back. I was lucky to land it to be honest...

Laugh all you want but mine has been the 1/16 oz jig on a little twist tail grub.

I don't believe that theory either. Ever drop one drop of lemon juice in a bath tub and still able to smell or taste that lemon juice? Nope...water disperses that pretty quickly.Same theory applies trying to drop one little lure into a body of water and expect the fish to smell it.They might smell it for a second or so,but then it'll disperse. As far as a fish holding onto a lure because of the scent,I can buy that.I imagine if your lure tastes like a crayfish and not something fake,would make them hold onto your lure just a little longer giving you more time for a late hook set. I have used Vaseline and a crayfish scent and it worked awesome...Only reason why I stopped is because I don't want to be putting chemicals in the water that could actually pollute the water.Nobody can tell me how safe it is to use vaseline in water. I'm waiting for the day JJ's comes out with a crayfish scent now...LOL

Money is an issue....But I haven't found a better rod for $150+/-than Powell. IMO I baby my Powell rod. If money wasn't an issue I'd probably be looking at Megabass rods...

I agree....and will also say,the fans need to take a good long hard look at themselves before they criticize somebody else. I'm just saying.... To me Lebron left for a better opportunity.Call it wrong,disgrace or whatever.But if it was me and a better job opportunity arises I'm gonna leave my job and take it as well.Is that really wrong?

I rarely buy expensive baits,but I do have a small handful.They are better in quality,but never guaranteed to catch you fish.Your buddy was doing something right when he outfished you.He had the right bait,pattern and technique down that day. I have many cheap baits that catch me fish,in fact I use some of the cheapest baits on the market. You need to know which ones to stay away from as well.

Sam,have you tried a paint marker yet? Only thing I could think of that might work. I just tried a yellow one(My work paint marker) and it seemed to work pretty well...

What I been doing this year,90% of the time My bait never comes back.Usually I reuse the bait till it's so beat up that it just flies off the hook after a head shake from a fish. No point in investing in mend it for me...specially if the stuff dries out before I can even use it.

I use yo zuri,P-line cxx and trilene XT...all in green color. Some reason I prefer Green line over any other color.I don't seem to have any problems in clear water either.Green seems to blend in better if you asked me.

Took me 15-20 minutes to get mine to even run straight...The line tie looks like a tangled mess now after I finally tuned it.It ran hard to the left.The white perch here seems to love that thing so far.
