Got the same problem.I avoid red line like a bad curse. I'm not fond of Canjun either....coiled up like a slinky. I ended up trashing the entire spool and went back with Trilene.Pretty much the only mono I fish with.

Mizmo 3.5 slim jims for numbers,4" big boys for size. I fish a LOT of tube baits from a number of companies.Mizmo seems to be my favorite.

Just recently spooled 50lbs test on my jig rod. Going to see how this works out.

I've never had a fish throw owner worm hook Cutting edge. The tear comes from the fight,which IMO your drag should be set right.Doesn't matter what I use,if I got my drag/tension set tight I notice it tears the fish mouth a little more. I think it's more operator error than hook type.

Great ribbon tail worms. If I can't find culprit Berkley powerbait worms are my second choice.

Awesome! Truly believe this is how you should live your life. Doing things you want to be doing. Just remember many of us are stuck at jobs we hate and despise.I just found out I'm back on 58 hours a week and possibly working Sundays soon. What sucks is my fishing season is already short up here. Yeah....I'm going to have to figure something out now.I'm not a happy camper right now.

It could have something to do with the manufacturing(cost of supply).More than likely not though when you pay for a spinner bait that costs a little more they may be using better hooks,stronger wire or better bearing for their blades.

When we first moved from Wisconsin to Texas,Our neighbors helped us moved in and we asked them if they wanted anything to drink.They replied "coke" and sure enough we brought them coca cola out and they looked at us funny and said "we didn't ask for that.we wanted Dr.Pepper" That confused the heck out of us. Got it one year on the top of my head.It was oozing liquid....wasn't a pretty sight to be honest. I was vacationing down in Texas at my parents house and apparently forgot how hot it actually got down there. We just got off the plane and got there and went out to the patio and talk. 2-3 hours later I paid the price......

I don't think it ever goes away....My kid fired me from being his Daddy yesterday because I didn't want him standing out in the rain waiting for the bus.He has a thing for being last in the long line at the bus stop.He told me the bus starts moving when he's not even in his seat yet.So he likes to be in the front at the bus line for that very reason. Yeah....He's 6.....He's starting to talk back more and more now.The thing is some of the stuff he says is just off the wall intelligent. Pretty soon he's gonna be smarter than me. Or so it seems. Gray hairs? Yeah those come fast when you have kids...LOL

Your Boss is happy with your work and is OK with what you do. That's all you need to know. You are doing your job. Every job is different.I think this posted started off as he was complaining about surfing the web,it got shut down and he got Mad.If his supervisor finds nothing wrong with it then his supervisor needs to get the problem fix. I work warehouse all my life,it's a bit different and usually goofing around is a big No-No.You also fall behind really quickly in my line of work. It's a steady 8 hours flow of work coming down that line.

I hate to agree,but yeah....you are at work.Not sure exactly what a teacher's aide or what they do. If we got caught surfing the net it's 2 warning then fired.We are suppose to be working,not playing online. Bring your own lap top and use it on your breaks.That'll solve the whole problem.

There's a lot of great sites on the web,but this is one of the top ones out there as far as reading/learning material goes.

Give it another year,braid is a pain in the "a" when you backlash. Give yourself some more experience on the baitcaster.One you start getting low on what you are using right now buy yourself some braid and tie on to the remaining mono.Braid is expensive and this will save you money.It will also eliminate the braid slipping on the spool as well when you are using mono backing. For me there is a time and place to use braid.Like ghoti pointed out.I've gone back to braid for top water frogging(previously used 17 XT trilene). Going to also try some for jigs just to see how it works.

Get what you want,I have both Revo and curado.Surprisingly I prefer the revo. Hand in hand the curado doesn't feel as sturdy.I also think the revo is a much more smoother reel. Both are great reels,most reels in that price range will be.

It happens every year to me. Gotten to the point I just blow it off now.Before I used to raise my arms and shout "Dude,are serious?" They get the message pretty quickly.Sometimes words get exchange other times just hand gestures get tossed around. Best thing to do is leave sometimes. No point in actually getting into it with a weirdo who just might have a gun on him and won't think twice about taking a life.I still keep having to remind myself that too.

Funny you mentioned that, I actually miss Texas because of those U-turns don't exist. I've noticed too,if you catch a green light it's a straight shot down the road without stopping.I can make it home in 7 minutes that way,Usually it's 10-15 minutes through the "shortcut way" to work.The only reason I don't take the same route to work is because I'd have to make 2 U-turns to get there.That would actually take me longer to get to work then it would as if I was coming back home.My wife actually taught me that when I moved up here. You know what's funny though,NY,MI,and TX are rated as the worst drivers in the U.S.
