  1. It works! Don't know how it works but it does.My only concern is does it do any damage to your gears doing that?
  2. Roll cast are much easier and forgiving to do than trying to cast a lure overhand on a baitcaster if you ask me.90% of my cast are roll cast. You can get incredibility accurate this way as well. Turning the reel sideways on a cast(handle upward) I find to have yet backlash this way on a baitcaster.
  3. I use the same box to store my plastics in the house. Those boxes are awesome!
  4. Oscars are probably one of the coolest fish I've own. They act much like a bass & bluegill and just as aggressive if not more aggressive. I've hand fed my Oscars goldfish and worms. They do get big....so make sure you got at least a 20 gallon.Ideal tank would be a 55 gallon.
  5. Why don't you just raise Bluegills instead? Don't release a captured fish into the wild....you could do some serious harm, putting unknown bacteria into your pond, lakes or where ever you release the fish.Honestly,I wouldn't do it.It's also Illegal in some states to do this.So check your laws. If you going to raise it,raise it till it dies in your aquarium.
  6. X2......You can catch just about almost all types of species with that too. If I'm going after fish for food, the grub would be my #1 choice as well.
  7. Dang...and I decided to pass it by and not go in this time.....Any havok baits in stock? I want to get my hand on some spears before I go ordering online...LOL
  8. I don't know how you feel about unions, but this is going to hurt us as far as a country goes on what happened in Wisconsin. If the rest of America does this the common working man will be in jeopardy. As far as football thing,it's greed on both parts....Wouldn't surprise me if it's more on the owners part than the player's part though. Oooops, getting close to starting something political. But I'll add one thing. My mother worked in a sweatshop in Fall River, Mass. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. This is where it gets interesting and totally different from what unions advocate today. All the employees from those who cut the materials according to patterns, and those who stitched them together got paid by piece work. The more you produced, the more you got paid. There was no guaranteed hourly wage. So, if an employee turned out twice as much work of the person next to them, they got twice the pay. That would benefit me...Wish it was like that back in the day where I used to work...Many places I worked shut down or had to put 2-3 people to keep up with what I did.I took pride in working hard. ;D I agree almost too close to political. So I stop there.Don't mean to turn this tread away from the original topic at hand. Does anybody know what exactly the owners are trying to get the players to agree on? I remember somebody saying an extra 2 games added on.Not sure what else the agreement is over. There's 2 sides to every story...until I hear both sides,I'm not taking any sides.

  10. Unfortunately I'm a weekend warrior.Between working second shift and spending time with my family I'm lucky if it's once a week.If the weather is really bad I may even miss that weekend. BUT! I have a small pond at my work that I am allowed to fish during my 20 minute lunch break.......Who needs to eat lunch? Right? ;D I'll hit that pond any time I can while I'm at work.....weather permitting. So you could say I fish almost everyday during the spring, summer and fall.Winter everything is frozen.10-15 minutes doesn't really give me a whole lot of time to work with.I can't complain though...least I'm fishing.....
  11. They say he never really did say that. But it is my favorite quote in life....so much I thought about getting those words tattooed.
  12. There was a tip here awhile back, somebody mentioning to wire tie all your jigs over the winter season.I'm doing that next year....this year i just didn't get the time.
  13. Mine had memory too....I hated it. The color red seemed to spook a lot of the shallow fishing holes i did.
  14. Be very, very wary of it.....reminds me of what I went through with another club that's really popular.
  15. I really don't understand why the girls like this guy so much.
  16. I always bring sunscreen. When i went back to TX on a vacation trip i forgot to pack it.I ended up getting sun poison on the top of my head. What made it worst was I usually always wear a hat too...I forgot that. I completely forgot it gets much hotter in Texas during the late spring than it does here in Michigan.I paid the price. I was in pain the whole trip down there and another week up here.
  17. I take whoever wants to come with me....Makes no difference to me. I read your other post in the women section and I can not figure out why in the world they wouldn't let you fish in the club.Makes no sense to me. >
  18. Who says white men can't jump now? ;D
  19. "Bass candy" really sticks out...I think somebody has mentioned it though.
  20. I can't wait! It means spring is just around the corner for me up here in the North.
  21. Rods - Powell Reels -Daiwa(spinning),No preference(baitcasters) Line - P-line CXX & Trilene XT(tied) Hardbaits - H2O academy brand Softbaits - Gambler & Yum(tied) Storage - No preference(whatever works)
  22. Watch the havok video....That tail has a nice thumping action in the water. Much like a pattletail worm. Seems like a pretty versatile bait to me.
  23. They are extremely nice cars! Heck I want one and I'm not really a Ford man. ;D I got about 2000 of those sitting in the next parking lot by my work,I peaked into one of them on my break and they do look great.
  24. The Spear is really the only one that has peaked my interest out of the Havok baits.
  25. 3rd one is more common considered the right way,but i do rig it in the first picture as well. There's really no wrong way to rig this except backwards. Backwards don't work too well.Long as the claws are facing outwards(In all 3 pictures) it'll work...even upside down.(don't ask how I know). ;D
