I was expecting snow to come up to my windows....Didn't happen. We got around 8" too...not the 15+ they were expecting.

Learn to drive It's the other idiots on the road I'm more worried about. I got no problems driving 10 miles an hour all the way home if it gets me home safely. I know some idiot is gonna try to do speed limit in this messed up weather that's coming. I see it every year... I curse the idiots that come out in their small cars and go 10 mph. Yup that's me .... Ain't no denying it.I try to stay off the roads though if I can! ;D

If you can get to work before things get bad, that would be my choice. Once you're there you can make do. Aftter the road crews have done their work getting home will be easier. Good luck. I can get to work before things get bad...it doesn't start till 7pm and suppose to come down hard by 9pm-3am. 3" an hour is what they are expecting.I don't get off work till 11pm....I'll be driving back home in blizzard conditions basically. Wednesday is suppose to tamper off to light snow by 7am,I don't have to be at work till 3pm. I think I'll be alright going to work.....

Can anybody tell me which is safer....coming home in bad weather or going to work after everything has passed over? Any Michigan who has experience in this weather over the years help me out. I'm going with my guts and thinking it's safer staying home when it hits and go to work after everything is done and over with. I'm I making the wrong decision? I'll gladly admit I can't drive in this stuff too well. I can't take two days off either....What would you do?

I'm an extremely worried about this one.They are saying over a foot of snow here with possibility of ice as well. I'm thinking of missing work...I can't drive in this stuff. The last big one we had here I was in the hospital(3 days) watching my son being born.That was in 05'. I never had to worry about driving in any of it. ;D

I"m good at fishing...but right now a thick layer of ice is preventing me from going. :'( ;D Until then I have no choice to to sit at home and watch some TV. I'm coming in at 5'3" 200 pounds, an NFL pro football player would literally mow my butt over on the field.I don't feel like being a bench warmer to be honest. I usually agree,Life is too short to sit around at home....but let's face it...Superbowls are fun to watch and they only come around once a year.

A lot of guys swear by them here. I can't get em to work for me. I don't really care for baits that can dry up like gulp does. I hate Berkley gulp,But i love the berkley powerbaits.

My wife wants to get me one of these.It'd be a late Christmas present.Honestly I'm fine with my Folgers brand coffee.I'm the only one that drinks coffee here. Once in awhile I like going to Biggsby coffee shop and getting me a cup.I don't do it often though. Are these Keurig really worth it? Seems kinda expensive from what I normally do and drink.

I do both as well. I'm in agreement with J francho on this one. I rarely have a problem with baits balling up and when it does happen it's usually the threaded ones that do it more often than not. :-/

I use the jigs for walleyes in murky water around here tipped with a curly tail grub.Catches bass as well. I don't typically buy chart. colored senkos,but i do dip my smoke colored ones in JJ's magic chartreuse.

Clam on a spinnerbait. I felt the tug and weight,but it felt like i was reeling in a 1/2 pound rock....weirdest thing.

Backlashes on baitcasters. As much fun it is to use a baitcaster,it bothers me when i get a backlash....I feel like I'm losing fishing time trying to dig it out.
