  1. I'm looking for some help on how to start painting lures and molding soft plastics. I have a 3D printer and have been making models of hard baits like crankbaits and jerkbaits, but I need some guidance on how to start painting them and how to get that nice glossy, professional look. I'd also love to learn how to start molding soft plastics and where to begin with that process. With winter coming up, I get out fishing less and less, so I really want to stay busy and keep with this amazing hobby during the colder months. Any tips, advice, or resources you can share would be super helpful.
  2. Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the warm welcome. @Swamp Girl I'm actually out traveling right now, but I plan to add some pictures once I get home this Saturday.
  3. Hey everyone! I'm excited to join this forum and talk fishing with all of you. My name is Evan, and my love for fishing started with my grandpa up in Green River, Wyoming. He's been a lifelong fisherman and even used to fish professionally. So from when I was little he had me out in the water at Flaming Gorge chasing Kokanee salmon. These trips got me hooked into this amazing hobby. This past summer, my grandpa took me up in Alaska, which was one of the best moments of my life. We went after halibut, rockfish, and salmon, and I got to see how fun fishing can be up there. It really expanded my love for fishing! I live in Parker Colorado where I spend lots of time at Chatfield Reservoir chasing walleye, trout, and small mouth bass. I'm always trying new setups, and learning how to fish and rig in my kayak. Kayak fishing has always been my passion and since I am 14 that is a great way for me to get out on the water. I am always finding ways to rig up my Kayak for my needs. I even plan later this year to put a trolling motor on my kayak! I also want to start getting into lure making. This includes modeling my own lures and custom painting hard baits. I am really glad to be part of this community and hope to learn from other anglers who share the same passion as me. Whether it's taking kayak rigs, tackle setups, tackle making, or fishing stories. I'm always excited to share ideas and experiences. Tight lines, Evan Mancini
