The St Croix Spring Opener is going on right now. Surprisingly a lot in stock, but nothing that fills a gap in my gear.

I weighed my desire to save some $$ vs actually getting sleep, I chose sleep. Luckily the only thing I would have bit on, the Twin SW looks to have sold out nearly instantly so I didn't miss much.

Honestly I had money burning a hole in my pocket and none of the TW deals were good enough to get me. Kistler got me tho, saltwater rod on its way.

Well the timing worked out, I got my bonus from work in the meantime so he gets a sweet DC reel and a GLF rod instead. (And I'm picking out a new setup for me too).

It was the Abu one from Amazon, at time of order it said it would arrive before Christmas, then a couple days ago it updated to Jan 15-20th.

Well the Abu reel deal that was posted ended up getting its delivery date pushed to mid-late January. Not worth the wait so I pulled the trigger on a JDM SLX DC for the kiddo for $130. I have a spare SLX medium/fast rod I got for half price last week, so that will work out well for Xmas.

Thanks for this, snagged a Max Pro for the kiddo for Christmas. Just need to find a white rod on sale somewhere.

Verious sizes of drop shots and ewg hooks from BKk, and some fire line for my ultralight rigs. Local creek has been producing tiny bass but GIANT Rio Grande Perch. A lot of fun to catch since they'll hit anything, even topwater.

I have a huge pile of hooks, fluro, senkos in various sizes and colors, craws, some hardbaits....so much coming. I hit their max discount on 2 different orders. Get ready to have them show up one at a time, individually packaged. I came home to a mountain of envelopes on my doorstep.

Been following this thread for awhile, thank you all for posting deals I was trying to post the one I managed, but the forum hates Chrome for some reason and wouldn't let me register. Best deal I managed was a Curado DC for $185 after tax. I saw that Thruway Sporting Goods in NY has an in-store only 40% off reels deal, but I'm in Houston. Gave Academy a call and spent an hour with a lovely rep doing everything in her power to match it. Something to keep in mind for deals you can't physically get to, Academy is the king of price matching.
