  1. its a brand new CD-R. just bought the pack today. my CD drive is a "HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GSA-H21L" not sure what all that means, maybe i'll put it into google.
  2. i'm trying to back up some of my music onto CD's, and i'm having some trouble burning. i used my Zune software to burn once CD, and it took about 15 minutes. i don't burn CD's too often but it sure seemed like it was going VERY slow. this CD was successfully burned though. then i tried burning a different CD using Sonic software to burn the CD, and it was displaying a burn rate of 0.7x. and estimated time of over an hour. it took over 5 minutes to burn one song so i cancelled that and wasted a CD. then i tried to burn the same CD using Windows Media Player, and it zipped thru the inspection/conversion, and then when it started to burn the first song, i got a message saying that the CD could not be burned. so, how long should it take to burn a CD and what is some good software to do it with?
  3. shad are in the herring family. shad are also VERY widespread, and chances are they are in the bodies of water you fish. if you want to learn about shad, just google them.
  4. i've never used it, but from what i've read about it, that stuff is more of a clear coat than a strong epoxy used for holding stuff. i would just go to the hardware store, pick up a tube of devcon 2 ton epoxy and use that. you can also use devcon for clear coats, but if you have flexcoat, i'd use that. i think it is Big M that uses that as a clear coat and he says its very nice and doesn't yellow over time like devcon sometimes does.
  5. ^ and everyone should know it.
  6. ^ i photographed it by popular demand : duh..... i didn't name the fish, cuz you guys suck
  7. LMAO! its real funny considering you can see a bass' head coming out of dotties mouth :-? ;D ;D
  8. i would stick with the 24 hour (2 ton) epoxy. it doesn't really hold you back that much, because its not like you have to wait 24 hours to handle the bait. you can handle the bait and continue working after 2-3 hours.
  9. that was LOL FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D it was hilarious when he busted out into a sprint.
  10. LOL! Awesome! i think its really funny that he slaps the water with the crankbait while you fish ;D
  11. that male better step up his game! those bluegills are all up in his turf. ;D
  12. looks great! the black/blue/pearl looks awesome. if you only painted those three dots on the head portion, and made them decrease in size, it would look just like an american shad.
  13. sometimes it is better to just let the male pick up and play with the bait because if you pull the male out of there, the female is less likely to bite. i'd just let the male play with it and then when he fails to remove the pesky foreign intruder, the female will step in, and then when she picks it up, set the hook.
  14. i like to season bass filets with old bay, lemon juice, a little butter, seasoning salt, rosemary, basil, and maybe a few other things i find while i'm rummaging the cabinets, wrap the seasoned filets in foil, and grill them so they're cooking in their own juices. this about the only way i'll eat any fish. i really hate fried fish. but grilled fish is awesome! i've only eaten bass once and they were really good, tasted just like striper from the chesapeake.
  15. thats a largemouth fo' sho'. zoom in and you can really tell.
  16. ^ is unable to justify his contempt for me
  17. low price hooks are great and all, but don't sacrfice quality for cost!
  18. i'm not sure how this scam is supposed to work (but i don't use ebay much so i wouldn't know). is this person trying to trick you into sending them a product?
  19. the way you have that written, your bass weighs 35.42 pounds. you must have meant [(169+81)/10]/5 which would come out to a solid 5 pounds. three cheers for order of operations Nope. That's the new world record. Burley is actually BigFoot and that is why the fish only looks like a 5. oh! of course... i forgot that burley WAS infact bigfoot. my mistake. ;D

  21. if you want a shallow diver, you would want to try the rapala DT FAT 03. its small in comparison to the 01, but its still a pretty good sized bait. its got a square lip like the 01, but it dives to 3 feet. and this one actually does get down to 3 feet on a normal retrieve. you can also crank it in slow and have it run about 1 foot deep. its a much more versatile crank than the 01.
