  1. when this site was updated a few months back, there was a little glitch where any extra spaces (more than 1 space) in the signature got turned into "&"'s, and the only way to fix it was for the person to go in and change it themselves. some people must not have noticed or not cared : ;D
  2. DT's are great.
  3. ok i've listened to both albums i got (A Little Bit Special and The Craig Machine) and they are officially two of the best albums on my Zune. i was listening to A Little Bit Special this morning on the bus and i kept laughing out loud, but i was trying not to because i'm sure i looked goofy just sitting my myself laughing out loud. ;D
  4. i use acrylic craft paint that you get at Michael's craft store for 50 cents a bottle its easily to use, cheap, and there are some good colors available.
  5. wow that was a really short survey! just: do you fish, age, sex, race. that might be the shortest survey i've ever taken. oh, and this is a real cool thing you're doing Thad!
  6. anybody seen/heard him? just got two of his albums, they're hilarious! this guy is funny ;D
  7. as soon as i saw that cartoon news reporter fish i remember seeing an ad for this on TV. here are my thoughts: i have no doubt the lures will catch fish. most soft plastics do, and this one does seem like it would have a nice action. does that make it worth 30 bucks? OF COURSE NOT! i would try them if they cost 3 bucks for a 10 pack, but definitley not at 30 bucks.
  8. HANSON?!? seriously????
  9. certainly unique. how does the body shape of those "baitfish" affect the action? also, that swimbait body looks SICK! can't wait to see it finished
  10. monkey fighting i can understand but MONDAY FRIDAY!?!? :-? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D i wish i saw this censored version!
  11. we've got a 36lb thrust minn kota on it, would like to upgrade, but not likely. this is fine though, the 36 pushes us quite fine. i'm not sure if i'm going to put a deck in it. probably not, for stability reasons. if it was wider i might. this is only a 36" beam.
  12. i've put it in the gill plate and had fish thrash around and tear their gills, and i've also put it "under the jawbone" (see senile1's avatar) and i've had fish fall off. so i sharpened the hook and i just stick it through their bottom lip, behind the bone.
  13. shallow, warm, weedy water! by the way, these are called wake baits, not sub surface cranks. sub surface cranks go UNDER water, not wake the surface.
  14. i have checked the scale with those 2lb, 1 piece, molded lead barbels. the kind that are used for aerobic excercises, not the kind with interchangeable weights that are used for body building. i've also checked the scale with 5lb bags of sugar etc., stuff that is measured from the factory by weight. the scale has always come out within 1 ounce of what the item is supposed to weigh. i do want to get a new scale though, i want to get a berkley digital lip grip, because i don't like how i have to push the hook through the fish's lip with my current berkley 50lb scale. thanks for the comments!
  15. yeah i was just going to suggest a "Results Only" type thread should be opened for the entries.
  16. they look like little kid's toys! ;D any purpose to that strange bill shape? never seen one like that.
  17. i wouldn't use paint thinner...it might react with the soft plastic. i would use some kind of friction to remove the paint, maybe sit there and repeatedly rub the paint off with your thumb or something.
  18. ^ sure do, and its a good show too! it just sucks that comedy central is playing re-runs of the first episode like 24/7, whenever they get a chance :
  19. laaaaaaaaaame ;D
