  1. Is there an aftermarket handle for these? If not what Shimano handles work on the MG? Thanks
  2. Have a Chronarch B that is getting rough on the retrieve. Is worse with a heavier or harder pulling lure. Have cleaned and greased but has not helped. Is this a bad bearing? What happened to the Shimano product forum?
  3. Will be fishing club tourney on May 8th. I have never been on this lake, any body got tips, locations ,techniques they would share?
  4. Sounds alot like my ordeal. My dealer is a cretin who would not get another medium action. Local BPS would not since I didn't but it there(don't blame them). Contacted Sean, sent pics, it took 3 months, before I got a replacement, and it was not the same rod as what I originally purchased. It was a different tip. So I can't give the service department much love but I do still like the rod. If you got to keep your broke rod, cut out a few inches, cover smaller section with JB Weld, insert in to larger diameter end, let set, and you have a goog top water rod. Or that is what I did.
  5. HOPE YOUR CARROT STIX EXPERIENCE IS BETTER THAN MINE. NEARLY 3 MONTHS SINCE MINE BROKE, STILL NO REPLACEMENT. iT IS MEDIUM ACTION, WHICH THEY SAY IS OUT OF PRODUCTION. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND MY MONEY SO I CAN BUY ANOTHER FROM LOCAL RETAILER. BUNCH OFCRAP I THINK.
  6. Care to share this phone number?
  7. Apparently the one I want. Just looked at my last email from them andthey are trying to get me to take a MH. Said the medium action is there most popular. Funny, how when I was looking for one it was always several of the other actions, but there would be just one Medium on the racks. Local store had a medium the other day, I asked E21 to mail me $150 plus tax, and I would buy that one, but they declined that option.
  8. Been 2 months since I was supposed to get a replacement rod, they claim they are out of production, can get me any length or action except for the one I had. Lifetime warranry is bull#$%, UNLESS it means it takes a lifetime to get one.
  9. Ha, I got it back together and it is working. I can't tell that I done anything differently than the other times..... now if that Carrot Stix shows up and the wife would change her mind on the Bullet.
  10. Well RM I guess I get to show my ineptness even more. I HAD THE SCHEMATIC AND STILL CAN"T GET IT TO WORK!
  11. Thanks for the support Dink. I did just as you said, it seems that the ratchet gear keeps movingon drive shaft, when reassembling. Then it doesn't connect with clutch, to pop the thumb bar back. Interestingly enough that is what happened on the Tica as well. I wonder if the way i disassemble is causing this, obviously I am not getting something correct on reassembly.
  12. 1. Found great dael on Bullet boat, but wife says no. Can't afford boat and divorce. 2. Tomorrow makes one month that I have been waiting for e21 too replace Carrot Stix. 3. Took apart 3 reels today to lube. It took 3 tries to get the Tica Sculptor back together, then sold it to coworker. Revo s Ihave tried numerous times. It is either stiff to reel and spool doesn't turn, or reels freely, but won't engage spool after, turning handle, or twice everything worked fine until I put it back on rod, then wouldn't engage. I know that is just coincidence, but is ticking me off. 4. Rain, rain rain, and more rain on the way.
  13. Had my Stix break on trip ou of town, dealer now doesn't have that action in stock, I just flat out doubt most everything this guy says from other reports, have called e21 but can not speak to anyone or even get a callback. I just feel that mailing them the section of rod with logo and $30 is not going to get me a rod anytime soon. Anyone with experience with e21?
  14. ok just realized, that I left out a pieceof critical info. I was asking about rods, just failed to mention it. What rod action and power do you use for tubes and grubs?
  15. Just wondering what you guys recommend for tubes and grubs?
