hello, i am realitively new to tournament fishing, but it has got a hold of me quickly. I recently moved to north east florida from california, and it seems like all the tactics I know dont work here. can anyone tell me where the best place to start fishing on a tidal river this time of year is and what lures or presentation will yield or locate the most fish.
thanks for the help, i did it myself this morning. hardly any problems, just the shift linkage adjustment but i think i have that now. going to take it out later tonight.
hey man, glad to hear you got it running right. I just changed my water pump today and had the same problem. I think that linkage is just extremely fickle. i noticed with mine i had to pre ajust the barrel nut several times before i got it to work, i had to re-pull the lower unit 5 times. if you have more problems that may be it. well its time to take it out for a test run. good luck
I have a 1988 ranger boat with a 50 hp yamaha outboard. I have been very fortunate so far and the water pump has held strong. I noticed the other day that it was getting a little weak though. I have a tournement next saturday and need to get this fixed. my question here is can anyone tell me what all is required to change the pump or impellor. also is it a job to to at home or is cost beneficial to have it done. what are the cost both ways. thanks for your time
