I looking for a setup under 200$ right now and i mainly fish open water with rock ledges and some wood cover..

Any thoughts on a good jigging rod and reel?

I know im gonna sound like all the other 100s of people who are trying to learn to use a jig..but I am and If anyone could tell me a good starter jig to get me confident with them and a little clue on how to fish them? Also if anyone has some good tips on fishing them in like 40ft of water that would really help my situation right now...Thanks Big B ;D

I know everyone is talking about how low the water levels are now but there is a lake 20 miles from my house where the average depth is about 35 feet...and all the fish are showing up at 30-50 feet on the fish finder. How do i approach getting down that deep? Ill take any advice right now beacause i dont have a CLUE ...Thanks everyone Big B

Try a topwater frog in all black..i have sucess with that in a small pond near me that is very grassy and dont be afraid to throw it in the nasty looking stuff. PS-The Spro Bronzeye Jr is the best topwater frog ive used

Thanks are these setups you all talked about good for alot of different types of lures and fishing cuase i only have two other setups and i need something pretty versitile.
