hey mom you and i have something in common we know how to turn that back of the boat into an advantage dont we? cant help being me but while your busy with that trolling motor im fishing . these days ive done alot of bank fishing so when i get in the back of the boat im in the same mind set and im confident simply because being disabled i dont look at disability as an inability. everyone ive fished with i tend to out fish them to. its not something i can help doing, any more then that hot mom can ;D

i just got up this am as per my morning ritual i grab my coffee and turn on the news. this is just lasking breaking news that because of the high heat index that fish in the shallow area's outside nashville tennessee have been dying in the forms of 100's. they said not much can be done about this and i saw the picture on the news of all the fish. i was spell bound and horrified, as im sure you are . is this happing anywhere else across the united states im very concerned how this will effect our sport of bass fishing and how it will impact the enviornment

if you read my post right you'll see im using the stinger for plastics and jigs i was thinking of using the ugly stik with my shakespere sigma bait casting reel for rat l traps, and cranks. i know theres better rods out there but im a guy on s.s.i cant afford another rod so im faced with not fishing or using what i got

speaking of that monkey ;D im hoping i'll have some help with getting a rod that can handle a bait caster that has power pro 30 lb test cuz i took that spinning rod off my ugly stik and put the bait caster on it . oh the spinning rods on a berkley stinger now so i can fish plastics,and jigs.

dont really need a combo i need a rod for that sigma baitcaster i like how easy it reels on retrevies its sooooooooooooo smooth. my spin cast isnt even that smooth. the problem is all the other rods i have are ultra light,and light again except the ugly stik and the stinger. i took rw's advice and put the ugly spin on the stinger with that cajun line. Thanks for the advice RW your the best as always. the problem is the ul, and the lights are all soft action tips the ultra light i aint mess'n with thats my crappie blue gill pole good enough for 6 lbs . the light pole i have is a berkley buccaneer, and a shakespere sportfisher. so what lb test should i use i got 30 lb shakespere, 30 lb power pro and 14 lb triline, or do i need to go buy another differnt lb test and respool the sigma? im thinking the berkley buccaneer may be a better crank'n pole then that ugly stik which ive decided will be good for cats

ok what about putting that bait caster with that 30 lb test power pro on that ugly stick for cranking and the bricks everyone says i can throw ;D i really could give that bait shop owner a peice of my mind since he told me that ugly stik was perfect for bass > or should i change out the power pro and add the 14 lb test stren i have?

well i only got one spinning reel which is the one that came with the ugly stick should i take it off the ugly stick and put it on the stinger? now the ugly spin has cajun line 6lb test think i could get away with putting on power pro 30lb test which is an 8lb dia?

ok im trying to upgrade from a ugly stik to a better rod i found an old pole of my granfathers all the others were soft tips. this pole i found is a berkley graphite stinger graphite st30-6 lure wt 1/8 to 3/8 oz this rod doesnt say what kind of action it is however nor do i have any idea if it will be a 1/2 way decent bass rod it however is a spinning set up. its a vet very short rod about 5ft 6 maybe it doesnt have that soft tip like the ugly stik. also it doesnt tell me what line wt to use . what do our ever estemed bass resource member have to say on this subject? another question i have is will this rod be any good to fish plastics on as well as jig, cranks and tubes?

Knowing bass the scientific appraoch to catching more bass is fantastic gives you major insights on what makes a bass tick, why they are the way they are why they do what they do etc...

I got my Cavitron as well bobby got me a 15 lber on it the other day and on an ugly stik go figure on the way to the river i stopped at dicks they were out of cavitrons, only had one tube of megastrike, but they did have a whole rack of evolution jigs i didnt have 10 bucks so i had top pass, then i stopped at walmart there were no megastrike products there at all so i requested them. i told the wal mart manager how hot mega strike is at dicks sporting goods that perked up his intrest. if walmart dont get them in i know that ole boy is going to dicks ;D ;D ;D ;D

theres a dvd at walmart about crank baits i haven't bought it yet due to it not having any closed caption for the deaf > does anyone have this dvd and does it have subtitles?

48 my wazzooo you look 28 tops Well, almost brilliant, Avid..... 1st, give me credit. I don't mind being 48. I've done some good living in those yrs, don't wanna loose out of any of them ;D I don't mind being country, everyone should be proud of who they are, I am. Adorable, it's what all country bumkins are, aren't they?? But about that Sponge bob stuff.... :-/ I'm not sure that when she(baby Ninja) gets here, she's gonna like that stupid sponge. Scooby Doo maybe. I'll use what ever to whip Jas. Cane pole, scooby, sponge bob, or gloomis....doesn't matter. Attitude and determination is on my side. Jason should know this by now...next.....no, you don't have to lend your gear, I'm sure I can find a stick to use and I can use line some squirrel has left laying around. Doesn't have to be expensive stuff, I'll make do and do just fine. (Although I have to admit I kinda like the nicer gear) This is gonna be tough on Jas, very few men can handle getting beat fishing by a mear girl, I've seen a few, but they are rare creatures indeed Thats when it's so much fun, relax and enjoy the experience.
