  1. dangnabbit thats just something i wont stand for a man hollaring at a woman like that. the poor girl, looks like she was having a worse day then he was the poor thang Nope, that's a HUGE squirrel, lol ;D I'm sure he blamed ALL of this on the wife as well, right? lol I wouldn't want to be in THAT truck for the ride home. (especially the way he pinballs the truck of every object he comes across, lol) (Glad ur feeling a little better Jim,being on the water is good medicine )
  2. what avid said is pretty true for alabama 2 only in flordia its warmer in the winter ;D ive fished in 105 degree weather here in alabama this year and was catching bass on a cavitron buzzbait

  4. something ive done with drop shots is tie a small rubber band to that sinker then to a swivel clasp then fix up the drop shot bait so ya get just a lil more wiggle. what do ya think about that one avid?

  7. one thing to do when you have the wind is make the wind your friend, go to cranks, spinners cast with the window. ive never been scared of a lil rain the only time im willing to leave a lake is when that lighting starts up, man let me tell ya i can eat, sleep and fish for hours, days. im one of those guys who even fish in 106 degree weather ive already gotten sick 6 times this year cuz of this freaky heat wave. besides my family and friends are convinced im nuts to begin with so why not prove em right and catch more bass
  8. my 1st go to bait is the cavitron buzz bait by megastrike this is a great bait that can be used all day long i just love to annoy those bass, and make em mad enough to hit that bait. as a follow up i'll use a suspending jerk bait like an x rap or other rapala lure, if no takers then i'll switch to a lizard or worm t-rigged or a crawdaddy by zoom and work those lures slow then a bit faster so i can find out what the bass really want.

  21. ok heres mine getting hooked in the heads one thing but this happened when i was 13 was my 1st attempt with a bait casting reel and i was casting one of my grand dads old rapala's and orginal floater of course. i raise that old mowhawk pole back to take a cast i ended up hooking my self in the butt ,and broke the pole. paw paw didnt have any good pliers at the time to take out the hook so to the emergancy room i go. turns out they didnt have any pliers good for the job either and the old dr's too scared to use any major tools. so the dr hollars out the door for someone to find a fishermen and there i am with a lure hanging out of my butt. had to wait an hour and 1/2 before they found someone who had a pair of pliers that would do the trick. next was the tetnus shot and a band aid on my bum which turns out was a pink abnd aid needless to say to this day thats still a tender subject ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D LOL!! ;D Too funny! The subtleness used to explain your experience just makes it shine.
