we run 4/1 water/bleach and then the injector cuts it down from there I think to 50/1 It eats up the injectors in around a year or two. It may not ever hurt a engine but I dont want to take that chance. From 20 years in Naval Avation I will also not use RTV on my tin boat as it is corrosive to alum. I work for Raytheon as a Radar tech and part time as a painter which is where I deal with the pressure washers. No problem asking me questions and having your own opinions as I spent 20+ years to ensure us all that right Randy

be careful running bleach through your engine as bleach is highly corrosive it eats up the chemical injecters in our pressure washers in less than a year. In other words dont do it! Randy

Randy how fast is your sv-18 and I may be asking questions about the livewell as mine is missing the switches on the console for the livewell Thanks Randy

I finaly found and bought a boat a 1987 fisher sv 18gt with a 100hp evenrude everythig looks and works good except livewells. I will pickup the boat on Saturday. Any advice/opinions on this boat? Thanks Randy

the nada shows around 2700 as best as I can figure and they want 4500. it seems that here in eastern va/nc everyone that has a boat for sale thinks that they should get everything that they ever spent on the boat back when they sell it. there is a 90 skeeter sd125fs with a suzuki 115 that they want 5700 for. I am trying to find a good boat in the 3000 range and sometimes it seem that that is imposible. I saw a 78 skeeter for 3000 and none of these boats are at dealers. a dealer has a 93 RANGER COMANCHE for the bargin price of 9500 http://norfolk.craigslist.org/boa/415401478.html well I will find something someday. catt I never said that they sold lower quality to walmart. Do you sell the 390 or the 3901 which is the same gun we could get the 3901 but not the 390 now this was two years ago when I still worked at a skeet range. When the 3901 came out we were told by beretta that it was because gun shops wanted the 390 but they had given exclusive rights to walmart for the 390 of course this was after the 391 replaced the 390 as berettas top autoloader Randy

does anyone know when stratos went to no wood in the construction. also need opinions of a 1991 stratos 264fs with a 115 evinrude such as value they are asking 4500 by nada I feel that that is high but on boat trader there are 2 264fs and both are a lot higher priced Thanks Randy

I have ran into people saying that the guns that walmart sells are lower quality because walmart can sell them for a lower cost than we could buy them with our ffl but the real reason walmart can sell them at a lower price is that they buy more guns at one time than even the distrubitors. Walmart is the only one selling the beretta 390 because even though beretta replaced it with the 391 walmart wanted to keep selling the 390 to reach a specific price (lower than the 391). because of the number of guns walmart buys beretta made a special run of them. Remington did the same with the sam walton special 1100's. So the tm could be the same as the one at bps or it may be a different model or just a different model number. The quality will be the same as other minn kotas Randy

I am looking at a 91 sx 150 and I have some questions 1. nada blue book does not list a sx150 in 1991 last year was 1990 is this correct? 2. are there any problem spots to look at on this boat? 3. Where is there wood in the boat (transom/stingers/ decks)? 4. Has a suzuki 115 on it how is this motor and what is max on the sx150? I hope to find a good tin bass boat as where I live ha a mix of small/large rivers and sounds. The budget depends on what skeet guns I have sold and how much I can save from my part time job. Four Daughters from 19-3 take up lots of cash plus we bought 11 acres and built in the last 2 years. Well it is in Elizabeth City NC. now I wonder if being designed by racers if it was over enginered nada shows a 1989 tunnel hull by K-craft. I will have to see what the owner says about the boat. Bass boats in this area seem to be priced very high.
