  1. why does it say "ex-member" next to my name?
  2. I am from Texas. Born and raised in Austin (Hook 'Em!), and now living in Wylie, outside of Dallas. You?
  3. Hello all, new poster here. I've been fishing the small pond near the entrance to my subdivision lately after not fishing for years and have had some decent luck. So far the only lure I've used it a small white roostertail and have caught many breem, a few smallmouth bass and a handfull of 3-4 lb largemouth bass, and a pretty big catfish that I estimate was between 10 to 15 lbs. I'd like to play around with new baits and lures but would like advice on what might work well, and also what times of day would be good to fish a small pond. So far I've only been fishing about 1 to 2 hours before sunset. The pond itself is probably 200 feet by 100 feet with a fountain in the middle that is only on sporadically. I would appreciate any tips or advice you could give.
