  1. Just go to Wal-Mart and look in the pen section. They make some REALLY thick pens. I promise.
  2. That's not true at all. If you have a thicker pen lying around, take the ink and spring out of the middle of it. You then put the senko(or whatever you're using) into the pen until the end of the pen lines up with where you want the ring to be. Then, slide the O-ring on from the thin side until it's on the lure. Good luck.
  3. Doh! I guess I was thinking about a lipless I bought the same day that's color was "baby bass". What I really meant was a "Fat CB" in a perch color. Sorry.
  4. I personally have mostly Rapalas for everything with a lip. My lipless are all Rat-L-Traps. Although, last week I decided to see what the hype was with these $15-$20 Lucky Craft cranks and picked up a Baby Bass in perch. The first thing I must say is that these lures are absolutly beautiful and they feel great. They cast very well and have a nice motion in the water and I've yet to get it caught up(2 days of fishing: an hour and a half of it on my line total). All this being said, I don't have any more confidence in them than I do in my Rapalas. If I were you, I'd bite the bullet once (when you have a little extra cash) for your favorite type of crank and give it a try. If you really look at it, $15 isn't that bad of a risk. Good luck in whatever you choose.
  5. No need for bickering. We all fish what we like.
  6. Like you, I have a lot of plastic worms lying around, most with a swirl tail. I've been fishing them wacky style for about the past 3 weeks without cutting the tail off and they're working great. I think the tail actually helps. It's something they haven't seen before. Good luck.
