Does any one change the hooks out on a heddon super spook? If so what size? And are there any other tricks or tips to this bait?

I do on Super Spook Jr's i use. I change all my trebble hooks to Mustad 2X short shank. They are strong, sharp, and the extra short shank allows me to upsize which definitely helps hookup ratio. I use size 2's with the spook jr. Only tip I can give is when the fish breaks the surface on your lure DONT set the hook. Wait until you feel the weight of the fish then just sweep your rod up and you'll hook em.

Hope this helps!
