Hey guys, I was thinkin of pickin one of these Tru-tungsten swimbaits up. Dicks is selling the tiny one, and I was considering buying it. I will be fishing small ponds/lakes with shallow water from the bank. So I was going to primarily use the bait as a wake bait.

What do you think of this bait, any good action, and does it produce well for you as a wake bait? Thanks for any info guys!

It will wake, but the bait is WAY too small IMO.

The thing reminds me of a jointed Rattle Trap that you can change the ROF on.  Actually, I think Rattle Traps are likely larger...

The 4" in my opinion is a great bait. everyone says its too small but on my lake it rips. My brothers top 3 lmb this summer were caught on it. between 4.2 and 4.11. Whats good is that you catch small and big. If your looking to eliminate the smaller fish than maybe its too small but if you wanna catch fish all day long its awesome. Also some people say they fall apart but our experience is that they are tough as nails.

If you want a bait that small I suggest a sebile. It's the only small swimbait that's held up for me. It will also wake at faster speeds much better than the TT. The figure eight wires that hold the joints in the TT get lose after a few good fish and the bait want's to roll and come out of the water when it's waked since the joint's aren't lined up properly. The 95 size Sebile is deadly waked on the surface and you can't make it roll or blow out of the water.

Small is sometimes what the fish really want. I've had good success on the fast sink and most have been just casting it out and letting it sink to the bottom they'll hit it on the fall! Great little bait I think.

If any to purchase its the fast sink.But its your decision to buy, but if not sure try others less expensive instead of spending a chunk on something you do not want.Sexy swimmer.

Definitely not better in anyway. The spro has a nice action to it but as many will tell you it doesn't produce as well as it looks.
