Xcalibur® Xr75 Questions

Featured Replies

Question 1) Is the Xr75 better than the Strike King Red Eye Shad?

Question 2) Does anyone use the Xr75 in Blue Shiner color? Is it very effective?

Question 3) Is the Blue Shiner the quality of BassPro.com (Image 2, #42) zoomed in, or is it pretty much a bad quality picture? It shows a really cool looking one on TWH (is this website banned from the forums?? was trying to post a direct link to the picture but can't)

or what about the XCalibur® XCS Square Bill Crankbaits? what's the positives and negatives of using the lipless vs lip crankbaits?

1. They both work well in different situations.

2. All the colors work well.

3. They look the exact same on both websites. Maybe it is your computer/browser.

The details of the lure in that color on TWH website is a lot better than what basspro shows.

I prefer xr 75 i like the way they run over the grass. The line tie is in a different location which changes the angle of the bait as its being retrieved. Which means i spend less time picking grass off my hooks.

So far I have these in my list, might add some other colors too I hear the red one is good for the Xr75.

XCalibur® Xz2 Zell Pop Hardbaits - Foxy Shad - 2-3/4" 38-250-603-99

XCalibur® XCS Square Bill Crankbaits - 2" - Foxy Shad 38-252-999-99

XCalibur® Hi-Tek Xr75 Rattle Bait Hardbait - Foxy Shad 38-250-029-99

My favorite color for the Xr75 is Oxbow.

Looks like you have a good list started. I love all Xcaliburs baits, their zell pop and XR50 and XRK50 specifically. Their ghost color is one of my favorites in any bait.
