Lake Fork live magic shad

Featured Replies

I was just down at lake fork this last weekend and at the lake fork tackle shop across from brookshires you can get the magic shads $4.99 for a 4 pack or $2.99 for 1 pre rigged one. You can also buy them at the fishermans one stop. Also at the fishermans one stop they have boiled crawfish and shrimp and cajun catfish on fridays and saturdays from 4-9pm.

My local Wal-Mart has the pre-rigged ones for ~$3, too.  They just came in this past week.

What kind of jighead comes with the prerigged ones? I have not seen the pre rigged packs, just the 4-packs.

IMO, the 4-pack is a better deal for $4.89.

They are also coming out with a 3 1/2" and 5 1/2" model. Both should be hitting retailer's shelves soon.

Brad, what I saw was a plain, unpainted lead-head jig with the body rigged on it.  It was a bronze hook if I recall correctly.  I would have thought they'd put a good black nickel version with it....  They did not have any 4-packs of bodies there.

I was curious as to what jig they were using.

I don't know if WalMart will carry the 4 packs or not, they must just be for dealers.

Where can someone get some magic shad baits like in Brad's avatar if they do not live near a Wal_Mart close to Lake Fork?

Allen

I bought one at walmart, thought I'd give them a second try.  I wish they would have painted the jig head though.
