Has anyone tried these new stickbait/worms yet? I saw them mentioned in this months FLW. I know they are fairly new but it appears from their site that many retailers are already selling them. Just wondering if anyone has used them or would recommend them.

A friend of mine was throwing one of these last time we were fishing.  It looks cool, but he didn't get a hit on it.

I was catching fish every few minutes throwing a ragetail craw, so he put it down and switched.

I'd like to try it sometime though.  Looks like a great bait for a c-rig.  Especially when it gets colder.

They are very big in Texas obviously, I haven't seen them in my neck of the woods, sure would love to try'em tho. maybe Glenn needs to pick up some and give'em out for Xmas to us:D

Awesome baits.  The way the tail floats up and the slow sink is awesome.  I will admit I haven't done as well with the bigs ones as I thought though.  It is HUGE though. 

As much as I got annoyed at the Grandebass hoopla on the Texas Fishing Forum (it got ridiculous); the Rattlesnake is indeed another classification of bait versus the standard ringworm (much to my shagrin). I reluctantly bought a couple of bags of Rattlesnakes at Academy, and found out they can outfish Senkos as far as a 'catch anything and everything' bait. The Hag's Tornado is a Grandebass Rattlesnake Knockoff with a floating tail. Hag's bait with the floating tail may benefit you if you use a rattlesnake on a shakey head, but I fish them wacky. The Grandebass bait seems to have ribs that are closer together versus Hags bait, and I feel it makes for a better profile, feel, and texture.   Hags bait and the Rattlesnake both obviously work....the 6" Rattlesnake rigged wacky is just dynamite. These baits are probably the hottest soft plastics out there...

Do you use a weighted hook when you fish them wacky?

Natural, are you talking about what Grandebass calls their Diamondback when you said the 6" version?

They are killer lures.
