When fishing plastics and or jigs, what length leader do yall use? That is ifn you are even using one.

I start with three arms lengths. When it gets below 2', I tie a new one on.

Is that three "single-arm" lengths (i.e. 3 x 3 or 4' = 9-12') or three "wingspans" (i.e. 3x6' = 18')??

I've always used about one "rod-length"... but after you tie off 2-3-4 time, it starts getting pretty short...

About 10 feet. I hold the spool in my left hand, and pull line off it three times.

I normally use about 2 to 3 feet, and I find that plenty.

2 rod lengths so the knot is just outside the spool if I were to pitch. Re-tie at around 3'.
