I didn't want to hijack the recent thread about fishing shirts so I started this. Years ago, when I was a hippie meat fisherman I wore cheap polyester jumpsuits. These were very similar to the jump suits that you saw pro fishermen wear during that era. The thing that I liked about them was that they were cheap and had a lot of pockets. You could fish all day in them. ( I was mostly bank fishing and had to walk through mud and cockleburs to get to a lot of my fishing spots. Then at the end of the day you could just pull a clean one out of the car for the ride back.

I've looked all over the KC area and some on the internet. Does anyone know of a current source for these garmets? I thought they were comfortable and really handy.

I'm not talking about a heavy set of denim coveralls. These jump suits were light, made out of some sort of material like nylon/polyester or what ever the 70's name for miracle fibers was then.

Prison maybe?

Maybe discount stores like Dollar General or Fred's? I'm not sure. Maybe Ebay. My grandfather loved those things.

Let the heathen wear triple hole white belts and sunglasses that look like welding goggles. I have smoat mine enemy and now stand before a trolling motor that is moved by my foot and not by my hand. Now that is funny. True, but funny.

Look on a military website for flight suits. There very light weight and have a million pockets but might be a little more expensive than what your looking for.

Fishing from shore at places that are very wary of new things in there area(fish) I was advised by a down south fisherman to use either darker colors or camo when fishing. If you can see the fish they can see you. I'm talking a small pond with all 10lb bass and bigger.
