Going Tube-Ular Yesterday In Nj!!

Featured Replies

Well spent the day on the water with fellow Bassnj member JF1 and I was schooled in catching bass on tubes which I really never got into ....Seeing is believeing and, well, Dan kicked my **** by about 20 fish and nice keepers at that.....the bigger fish liked his setup better than mine today......we ended up with over 60 fish between us which was nice but mainly alot of smaller under 14"fish...no crankbait hits still and only one on a spinnerbait....strange for this time of year IMO.......Dan nailed a nice bronze 4.2 pounds and about 10 over 3.....AND he got the biggest Crappie I ever saw....est. wt. was 2+ pounds...this thing was a monster and bigger than most of the bass we got today......fish that made cameos were Yellow Perch and Rocky Balboas.....surprisingly no snot rockets today........between us we got tons and tons of bass to 2 pounds and a few nicer ones to boot mainly on tubes,Power Team Lures Hammer Shads and keitech's.....here's a few of the better ones(mainly Dan's)....He's a great fisherman and it was great to learn something new today....thanks buddy!!.....
