  1. Cotton Cordell Suspending Super Spot sold at TW
  2. Was shore fishing a power plant lake a few years ago with a buddy. At the time, he had just purchased a BPS PQ combo. He was fishing an older setup, new combo laying next to him on shore. What I saw next was amazing... He casted, snagged his new combo off the ground and sent it on it's "maiden voyage"...gone...into the abyss!!! It was hilarious, not so much for him!
  3. I have a 852 "green" for light plastics - it's awesome. This year I picked up a 843 "blue" with a fast taper not x-fast. Have not used the 843 due to hard water still around my parts but I can't wait to test this sucker out!
  4. Not trying to hi-jack... How are the Nu-techs? Not rolling over as advertised?
  5. Awesome video Felix!!
  6. 18 over 10lbs in 1 day? Holy Crap!!!
  7. Alot of the bad reviews are from the older version of the carbonlite.
  8. Been using InvizX past couple seasons. Gonna try Sniper this year.
  9. I bought a rep sample NRX that was damaged from TheH00kUpTackle.com. They never sent me the rod because they didn't feel comfortable with the condition it was in. Instead, they ordered a brand new NRX from Loomis. It took an extra week to work out the issues, but I saved $200 on a new rod!!
  10. Yes like holding a lightning rod or something. The power wires, not sure.
  11. The buffalo is a cloud with lightning, the windmill is power wires.
  12. Welcome to Bass Resource!
  13. I bought a bulk spool of Sunline Sniper, is there a shelf life for this stuff? Can it go bad from age if not used? What are your guy's thoughts? Thank you in advance!
  14. or 3600 size boxes and a back pack works well also.
  15. You'll be fine with that bait. I throw something similar. I don't know about Yo-Zuri soft because I've never used it, The regular Yo-Zuri Hybrid is very strong. Usually a medium heavy is stiffer but not always. Some companys have lots of backbone but still softer tips, some are broomsticks.
  16. Yes, this is correct. My medium powered Croix LTB has the same lure rating as a medium heavy Carbonlite. My medium powered rods range in lure ratings. Loomis NRX maxes out at 3/8oz, Croix LTB 5/8oz, Abu Veritas 1/2oz, pretty much all my BPS rods are 1/2oz.
  17. Pit Boss, SK Rodent, D Bomb and Bifflebug. I like those BPS Crackcraws also, like Bluebasser said.
  18. A Zoom weightless trick worm is lightest bait I throw on a medium powered rod usually. The bait weighs a little under 1/4oz.
  19. I had to quit using Trokar ewg's because I was having trouble tex-posing, they slice right through plastics like nothing. Felt like every cast I was re-adjusting my bait. I usually use Gamakatsu for plastics and Owner for hardbaits.
  20. Old Ci-4 = no x-ship. I have 2 Ci-4's. One is broken in and is so smooth. Newer Ci-4...not so much.
  21. The medium heavy will give you a wider range of uses. Weightless/t-rigged plastics, spinnerbaits, light jigs, and some hardbaits can be fished effectively on the medium heavy. Plastics and very small jerkbaits/hard baits 3/8oz and under - I'd go medium. If you're looking for more of an all around rod - medium heavy.
  22. Balances nicely on 852 also.
