Got a Curado bantam from a friend and don't know how old it is. it is in great condition inside and out. Does anyone know what years the bantam was made

    Shimano has used the word Bantam on their LP reels forever.

    Bantam is Japanese for (small).

    Now I know why I saw a Chronarch 101A referred to as a Chronarch Bantam! I have wondered before which reels were really the "Bantam" series. Thanks. :)
