Hey guys I am now here and had a question. I finaly got to where I can buy some nicer fishing equipment. I just picked up a new Quantum Smoke 150. I have it on a Berkley 6 foot medium Lightning rod. I was looking at the G.Loomis calssic 6 foot GL3 or the St Croix Premier 6foot both medium. I throw alot of rubber bait like the Havoc crawlers and spinners. Is it worth the extra money to get one of these rods or not?

I'd say yes if you have the money spend it. I have a GL3 7 ft. heavy action and, it is by far my favorite rod that I own.

G. Loomis starts at the IMX series. Look at the MBR 843C & 844C.

Another suggestion is the Avid AVC 68MXF.
