Does This Look Like A Good Deal On A Ranger Boat?

Featured Replies

I have emailed him and waiting for a response.

I hope to go look at it this Sunday.

Never heard of a cabelas edition before Ranger boat .

This would be my first glass boat.

Right now I have a 14 foot Grizzly Tracker with a 9.9 but would like to upgrade to a nicer boat.

The boat is fine but sometimes during windy days it pushes it around too much.

Looks good maybe to good to be true. I would definitly not respond to any emails askin to send the Money to the princess of Nubia lol (that has happened to me). Craigslist can be a great place to find good deals but that also attracts scammers praying and suckers. My rule is if it doesn't have a phone number to talk to the owner or the deal looks to good to be true just keep it moving.

That same add Is posted here on Orlando Craigslist so looks like you will be recieving junk email for a while.

I really hate these scammers.

Thank you for the information.

At least now I won't build my hopes up at work today.

Yeah i know the feeling it blows but atleast I saved you alot of time and headaches dealin with jerks like that. Just tryin to help out a fellow angler. If you really want a bass boat post your own add stating what your looking for and what your willing to spend. It worked for me

She's older but garage kept and works perfect for me and my wallet.

If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

In case you ever get over to Rochester, MN....you could pick the boat up there as well.

Craigslist is great and I still use it, but it almost isn't worth the hassle anymore with all the people trying to make free money off others.

Looks WAY to good to be true.

I looked up that same make and model (minus the Cabelas edition) and found one for sale on a Texas fishing forum from 2010, that boat was selling for $14 500, and I doubt the value of this boat depreciated 60% in less than 2 years.

Check the nada website for boat values if it's alot less then it's worth there's probably something wrong with it or a scam. You should treat every craigslist deal with caution that way your guards up and it's harder to miss something.

This picture has been popping up on craigslist sites and forums for years.

I have flagged that poster twice already in the past post. Scam!!

In the Pittsburgh Craigslist as well. I report it everytime. I looked up the basic NADA value and I think it was $11,500.
