So, did you get any fishing gear for Father's Day? My son gave me a Bass Pro Shops Graphite Series Rod 6'6" M and a 6935 Phlueger President reel....... What a great gift, and we will spend the day fishing, then a fire in the pit latter with smores

Happy Father's Day to you too. My boy kinda spilled the beans yesterday. He said that we was going to wally world today and that he couldn't tell me why. I asked my wife if she wanted me to go with her and she said yes, which means that she knows nothing about fishing stuff and doesn't want to mess up. Right now of all the things I would love to have, I need a new b/c rod. Preferably one that's 7' with a fast tip. Of course, it would be great if I could have Angelina Jolie or Helen Hunt for just one day. Pft, like that would happen.

Happy Father's Day everyone! I'm not suppose to know about this, but I am getting a gift card from BPS from my two girls.

I was right. She took me to go pick out a rod. We're tight on money so I got the Shakespeare Extrusion 6'6" medium action. I know that you get what you pay for and all, but my shakespeare 6' spinning rod has pulled in a lot of bass not including 2 20lb catfish. So I am certain that I will enjoy this rod. And she got me some Mustad 5/0 EWG with the grip pin hooks. Now where's Helen Hunt........

Happy Father's Dat to all. The best gift I got was my son waking me up with a kiss and hug. I just cut up some watermelon for a snack and he and I are headed to the pool so I can continue with his swim lessons.

The wife got me 6 pair of shorts, 2 jeans and 5 shirts with her bonus money, but now she's broke so I have to give her an allowance, lol. Isn't marriage great, hahaha.

I spoiled myself with a new 7'11 Powell cranking rod, a couple LC cranks, spool of Yozuri and a couple pair of Clark's shoes. Rod and tackle should be here Tuesday, just in time for Thursday's tournament.
