How can I explain this. The neighborhood kids take frozen finger mullet and throw it out in the water and catch bowfin/mudfish, cut their line, then kick the fish in the water. Then they say how they catch wayyy more fish than I do. I'm there with my lure/soft plastics and I catch maybe 2-3 bass per 5-6 of their bowfin. Then they say how I spent $130+ on my rod/reel when they have old plastic rods that work better. How can I win this argument lol. (This is not serious, I know I can just ignore it, but I've known these guys for 10 years, I just wanna mess with them.)

X2 anyone can catch a mudfish. lmao. catching bass takes alot more skill then mudfish.

We got these types up north too...so annoying to share a spot with someone you'd like to kick in the teeth isn't it?

agree with this post. alot of people treat those fish the same way here. tear up all your crankbaits.

I'd have an easer time catching a Bass than getting a hot lookin' woman to go fishin' with me.

you need game. My wife was a ritzy upper class lady. Every guy who tried to date her would take her to dinner and wine and dine her. I simply asked her if she wanted to go boating with me. That included fishing, she had never done it before and it broke the ice. No awkward dinner talk or anything, just good old fishing and a few beers and laughter.
