The Hunchbass Of Prior Lake

Featured Replies

Look at this guy! The pic (because of the file size limit and bad photography) does not do this huge hump justice. Has anyone else ever caught a gimp bass like this?

That is probably a bass that Big-O set the hook on when it was a dink. LOL

Yes I have seen em like that, but that dude has a big ole hump!

I caught one that was 7lbs like that several years ago. It was skinny and seemed to have difficulty swimming but it must have been doing well enough.

He fought nice. Got the hook out and had mom take a pic ( i was on a pontoon with the family but of course I bring my rod) he took off alright but when I was bringing him/her in i first thought it was a small carp from the strange hump.

Another fish from Walmart! Beautiful lake

I caught a smaller 2lb bass that had a nasty hump in its back one time. It seemed to swim fine and it still put up a good fight. Interesting to say the least.
