Best Tying Vise

Featured Replies

For a reasonable price and a good one without breaking the bank is a Odyssey Spyder vice by Griffin. It's about $125.00 and it will take the bigger hooks that you use for bass jigs

I use an Orvis.

I'm cheap, but the hair jigs I make are either buck tail or rabbit or a combination of both so I have a basic 25 dollar vise. I will tell you that Griffin, or Thompson would be the way to go, the vise I have now is my second vise, the first one was also a cheap one but it did last over 10 years. I think when this one breaks I may get a good one but for now it works.
