im fishing an extremely clear lake and the locals tell me a crig is the best bet. what do you guys suggest? they tell me 4" cabin creek lizards and small tubes. but im looking for some more options

Roadwarrior, you mention this color quite often, do they still produce it? Cant find any, not even a picture actually. I have a big pack of transparent tan / black flake colored ones, but I feel like this color you speak of it more of a mustard yellow or chatruese hue?

Zoom lizards, green pumkin, with some jj's majic by far have worked the best for me, but why the 4"? Big fish like big baits for the most part in my experience. In June I did pretty well with 6" lizards on a very clear lake.

If your fishing Summersville, Tygart or some of those other lakes around there you should listen to what you were told. Not sure what it is about those Cabin Creek lizards on those lakes.
